- Ideation, engineering, design, and integration of mechanical and mechatronic subsystems for innovative materials processing and automated process control
- Thorough technical documentation of designs and release to production
- Support Manufacturing and Customer Success in DFM/DFA issues and customer bugs
- Project scoping, planning, and risk management
- Perform project management, responsible for schedules and budgets
- Mentor junior engineers
- 8+ years of experience in machine design
- BS in Mechanical Engineering
- Expertise in engineering robotic/mechatronic equipment including specification, design, prototyping, and BOM and documentation management
- Demonstrable experience developing complex capital equipment from concept to production
- Demonstrable project and team leadership experience
- Expert SolidWorks user
- Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
