Production Supervisor

QUAD is seeking a Production Supervisor for a company located in Hazleton, PA.

The Production Supervisor will oversee 14 union employees and will be responsible for daily production department operations, including ensuring manufacturing safety, product quality, and timely product manufacture, ensuring customer expectation and regulations compliance, and handling operations in compliance with labor agreement.

Responsibilities:

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for:

Coordinating raw materials, products, shipments, and supplies movement
Developing, communicating, and updating production schedules
Monitoring bulk raw materials inventory
Coordinating routine, emergency, and preventive maintenance for equipment and buildings
Scheduling critical instruments, scales, and gauges calibrations
Developing and maintaining training programs
Creating, reviewing, and updating production documents
Distributing product description labels, completing usage reconciliation, and performing physical inventory counts
Utilizing various information systems for data input
Assisting with audits

Skills/ Competencies:

The ideal Production Supervisor will possess these skills:

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry required
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Microsoft Office, , and Oracle proficiency
Excellent organizational skills
Strong leadership abilities
Ability to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously

Additional Details:

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Salary: to $105k
