PT/OT Rehab Aide

Location - St Mary PACE

Hours - Full Time

Position Purpose

ThePT/OT Rehab Aidesupports the therapy department by coordinating non‑clinical activities and ensuring smooth daily operations. This role helps maintain a warm, collaborative, and mission‑driven environment while assisting staff, participants, and families.

What You Will Do

  • Demonstrate and promote the Mission, Vision, and Values of Trinity Health and TH PACE.
  • Support a calm, welcoming atmosphere for participants, caregivers, colleagues, and visitors.
  • Complete assignments in alignment with established policies, procedures, and schedules.
  • Foster positive working relationships and contribute to a team‑oriented culture.
  • Assist therapists in routine participant support, including exercise programs, hydrotherapy prep/cleanup, and functional activities.
  • Help participants with equipment use and ensure treatment areas are safe, clean, and well supplied.
  • Communicate effectively with participants, families, and ancillary departments to support satisfaction and service excellence.
  • Perform clerical duties such as filing, copying, and document distribution.
  • Maintain equipment inventories, identify repair needs, and support general department readiness.
  • Participate in required training and maintain familiarity with regulatory requirements and safety protocols.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of experience working with a frail or elderly population (or willingness to complete PACE training upon hire).
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • Ability to meet medical clearance requirements per state regulations.
  • Strong customer service, adaptability, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently.
