Description
We are looking for a confident RN (DC2) with strong acute care leadership skills, to join our team as a permanent full time Shift Coordinator at the Cariboo Memorial Hospital.
As the Shift Coordinator you would be responsible for patient placement, bed utilization and staffing during weekends, evening and night shifts.
The Shift Coordinator is a key clinical resource to staff in resolving problems regarding patient care, staffing levels, bed utilization and is accountable for ensuring excellence in the provision of patient centered care throughout the hospital on assigned shifts.
The ideal applicant will have outstanding clinical judgement, problem solving skills and an excellent ability to communicate with patients and team members and take decisive action in a front line leadership role.
