    Description

    Job Title: Medical Billing Representative

    We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Billing Representative to perform various tasks related to medical billing and coding.

    The ideal candidate will have more than two years of experience in medical billing and coding, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Review and process medical claims for accuracy and completeness
    • Follow up on unpaid claims and denials
    • Communicate with insurance companies and patients regarding billing inquiries
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field highly preferred
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing and coding
    • Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT and ICD-10 coding REQUIRED
    • Familiarity with insurance billing and reimbursement procedures required
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
    • Proficiency in Google Suite and electronic medical record systems
    • Bilingual is a huge plus

    Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
