We are seeking an experienced Medical Billing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical billing and collection practices, with the ability to analyze complex claims and ensure accurate payments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough reviews of patient claims to identify any errors or discrepancies
• Analyze claims data to determine root causes of denials and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate with insurance companies to resolve payment issues and optimize revenue cycles
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changing regulations and industry standards
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance billing efficiency and accuracy

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in healthcare-related field preferred
• 2-4 years of experience in medical billing and/or collections; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proven expertise in medical coding and third-party operating procedures
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
