Program Quality Engineering activities include:
Interfacing with Production, Program Quality Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering personnel.
Investigate and work non-conformance issues through to root cause/corrective action.
Seek continuous improvement through involvement in product, process, and surveillance audit/assessment activities, complete Hardware Quality Audits (HQAs) and Foreign Object Elimination (FOE) Walk Downs, Work Audit findings to root cause and implement corrective and preventive measures, etc.

Troy, Alabama is located in the East Gulf Coastal Plains region of southeastern Alabama.
Troy's climate is typical of areas along the Gulf of Mexico in that it has hot, humid summers and mild winters.
Troy is a great place to live offering lots of things to do and has a small town charm. Troy is also a college town and is home to Troy University.Where can you get to from Troy? Our facility in Troy is just under an hour south of Montgomery, Alabama.
Troy is about 2.5 hours north of the Gulf of Mexico and Fort Walton Beach and Florida's Pan Handle. Troy is about three hours from Atlanta, GA.Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors or higher in a STEM discipline from an accredited college.
Must have a fully adjudicated secret clearance prior to starting and be able to maintain for the duration of the role.
The candidate must be a US citizen with the ability to achieve special access.**Candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives ("ATF") background check to obtain approval to be an "employee possessor" (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. Failure to obtain and retain employee possessor status may result in revocation of an offer and loss of employment.
Desired Skills:
Mechanical or industrial engineering degree.
VBA coding skills.
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T).
Quality discipline internship or DoD Industry internship.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
