What are we looking for in a Case Manager?
Case Managers on our Corrections team provide supportive counseling and coordination of care to our incarcerated clients within the assigned correctional facility. Coordinating with the Department of Corrections, the Case Manager screens and triages referrals for mental health or substance use treatment for incarcerated individuals and ensures that appropriate care is given to each client. Case Managers also collaborate with other Comprehensive Healthcare teams and community partners to develop discharge plans and continuation of services ahead of each client's release from the correctional facility. This position requires a confident clinician who is comfortable working within corrections settings, has exceptional communication skills, and enjoys collaboration with multiple partner organizations. All work will be performed within the Benton County Jail located in Kennewick. The Case Manager can choose a schedule of five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts, with a 30-minute lunch break: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm or Monday-Thursday 8am-6:30pm.

    • facilitating educational, behavioral health, or skill-building groups
    • assessing clients for safety and risk to self or others and taking appropriate crisis intervention measures when indicated
