- Review and analyze new matters to identify potential conflicts of interest
- Work closely with Firm professionals and the General Counsel's office to gather relevant information and assess conflicts
- Apply the Florida Rules of Professional Conduct, other applicable ethical rules, and Firm policies to determine whether conflicts exist and identify potential resolutions, including waivers or other alternatives
- Draft, review, and finalize waiver letters, disclosures, engagement agreements, and termination letters on a matter-by-matter basis
- Communicate with and advise attorneys, secretaries, and other Firm personnel on established conflicts policies and procedures
- Consult with the Conflicts Manager on procedural issues affecting the Conflicts Department
- Assist with onboarding new hires by reviewing conflict reports, requesting additional information, and coordinating with practice group leadership and the General Counsel regarding conflicts, waivers, and ethical walls
- Confirm the need for ethical walls and coordinate their implementation with the General Counsel
- Prioritize and manage multiple requests while coordinating with other team members to ensure timely handling of matters
- Advise attorneys and incoming professionals on conflicts of interest issues and resolutions
- Assist the General Counsel with additional projects as needed
- JD required
- Member of a U.S. Bar in good standing
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience handling conflicts of interest in a law firm environment
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under deadline pressure
