- Current unrestricted Colorado registered nursing licenses and Advanced Practice license with a prescriptive endorsement
- Completion of masters, post-masters, or doctorate degree in an NP program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate of Nursing Education (CCNE) or the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).
- Current 24 months of experience in the specialty
- Current certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN) or an equivalent body is required for initial applicants [or be actively seeking certification and obtain the same on the first examination for which (s)he is eligible] and reapplicants.
- If not certified, certification must be obtained within three (3) years of granted privileges.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification and pediatric life support (PALS) certifications is required.
- Current unrestricted DEA
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Additional languages preferred.
