- Works closely with team KBR Team Lead/Program Manager (PM) and government customers
- Manages end to end procurement activities, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and overseeing delivery schedules to meet project deadlines
- Conducts workload analysis of depot and develop plans for streamlined workload processing
- Supports and assists in acquisition planning, organizing, and managing of general and critical aspects of the development, production, and/or deployment of systems, subsystems, and equipment
- Coordinates equipment transfer to support deployment actions with MAJCOM
- Established understanding of budgetary or financial analysis and life cycle cost analysis and control
- Perform continuous evaluation on the status and effectiveness of program support in all functional areas to ensure adequate support plans and accurate time phased schedules
- Works independently, applies sound judgment to resolve problems/deviations, and obtains advice where precedents are unclear or not available.
- Participates in special projects as required
- BS degree in Business or relevant technical discipline and 5 years of related work experience OR an AS degree in Business or Relevant Technical Discipline plus 7 years of related work experience OR In lieu of formal education, 13 years of experience
- Must have familiarity with databases, BLADE, D035, and WAWF
- Understanding of Government Statutory/Regulatory Document Requirements
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve problems and innovate solutions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, etc.)
- Strong verbal, writing, and communication skills
- Experience and knowledge with the missions, roles, functions, organizational structures, and operation of the DOD, Air Force, and organizations that govern, interface with, and/or influence the systems acquisition process
- Ability to analyze, plan and adjust work operations of one or more organizational segments across a broad spectrum of functions and disciplines to meet program requirements and objectives within available resources
