- Oversees activities of the faculty in the development, implementation and evaluation of course revisions. Oversees the maintenance of faculty to adequately meet the instructional needs of the School of Medical Imaging. Orients new faculty in conjunction with the course faculty. Acts as a resource person to faculty in facilitating their professional development. Supervise and evaluate faculty teaching in the classroom, clinical and laboratory setting on a semester/annual basis. Approve payroll for direct reports. Authorize requests for vacation, holidays, special absences, workshop attendance, and personal days. Assist with daily administration of program in relation to clinical affiliates and selection, promotion and development of faculty. Prepares an annual evaluation of all faculty members in the assigned program. Collects student evaluation of all faculty members and clinical sites on a semester basis. Supervises the coordination of clinical education by instituting methods of instruction and evaluation, review of student and staff evaluations and initiates problem-solving when appropriate.
- Works closely with the Clinical Coordinator(s) in the implementation of the clinical competency program for the modality. Reviews all evaluations of students and assists in the counseling process as needed. Assists the Clinical Coordinator(s) in review of clinical/laboratory/competency evaluations and counsel faculty/students as needed. Assists all Didactic Instructors with student evaluations and counsel as needed. Develops and reviews program procedures and policies in coordination with existing school documents. Suggests changes to school policies to the Dean of the Schools of Radiology as needed. Reviews the School of Radiology Student Handbook and Clinical Handbook for the specific program on an annual basis. Reviews, updates and submits required changes for all printed material for potential applicants to the Director of Admissions. Reviews and updates all information concern the program on the school web site and submits the recommended changes to the Dean of the Schools of Radiology. Advises and Counsel enrolled students. Implements the policies as outlined in the current Student and Clinical Handbooks. Reviews student progress through curriculum requirements and suggests appropriate courses for the next semester. Ensures that adequate time is available to carry out all responsibilities of this position. 2. Hires appropriate faculty to maintain accreditation requirements.
- Maintains appropriate accreditation(s) for the program, including development and updating of the program's self-study, as required by the appropriate accrediting agencies. Develops and implements an assessment tool/plan approved by the accrediting agencies to measure program outcomes, review the results and implement changes as necessary to maintain accreditation of the program. Completes and submits annual reports as required by the accrediting agencies. Recruits Clinical Affiliates as per the accrediting agencies' requirements. Prepares and submits a contract of affiliation to the Dean of the Schools of Radiology for review and approval. Secures all documentation from the clinical sites as required for accrediting agency approval.
- Reviews and maintains copies of all affiliation agreements and presents renewal agreements/addendums to the Dean of the Schools of Radiology for review and signature. Recruits didactic and clinical supervisors/instructors as needed. Meets with and submits names and resumes of all prospective employees to the Dean of the Schools of Radiology for consideration. Ensures that a schedule of regular visits to all clinical affiliates/clinical education centers is maintained as per the modality accreditation standards. Provides in-service education for all designated clinical supervisors/clinical instructors to assure their continued competence in the evaluation process. Plans refresher courses as need for designated/appointed/contracted instructors/supervisors. Actively participates in appropriate local, state and national organizations involved with registration and continuing education of graduates. 3. Coordinates the implementation of the curriculum. Collaborates with the Director of Student Services regarding revisions to the Handbook. Works cooperatively with UCC in coordinating schedules of College and Imaging courses. Teach courses in the program as needed. Prepare syllabi, lectures, quizzes, labs and examination from didactic and/or clinical courses as needed to fulfill program requirements and outcome measures. Maintain coordination between didactic and clinical components of the program. Design, implement and maintain appropriate curriculum and course objectives including syllabi, objectives, outcomes and outlines, utilizing all available resources. Assist all didactic faculty in the selection of textbooks and reference books utilized by the program. Obtain up-to-date quotes from the school approved vendor(s) for all texts required for courses on a course/semester basis. Submit quotes or have quotes forwarded from the vendor(s) to the Director of the Schools of Radiology. Review and assist didactic faculty in the development of appropriate curriculum course objectives, syllabi, outcome assessment and testing materials. Select and request purchase of appropriate audio-visual materials to enhance didactic courses. Provide opportunities for didactic faculty to expand their knowledge base through the recommendation of educational seminars and research material 4. Assists and advises in the recruitment/admission/registration of candidates/students. Participates in Open House and Credit Evaluation Sessions as needed. Assists the Directors of Registration, Student Services and Admissions when requested. Recruits candidates and/or provides informational sessions to prospective applicants as needed. Organize, plan, and execute the annual graduation. Provides information and guidance in Scholarship recommendations.
- Presents a budget to the Dean each year. Evaluates and maintains equity in financial aspects of the educational programs. Reviews the annual tuition and fees for all programs, and suggests fees as necessary to assure viability of the programs.

- Minimum 4 yrs full-time Clinical Experience and 2 yrs full-time teaching experience in an accredited educational program in the modality of hire. 3. General knowledge of professional equipment for the modality of the program of hire. Computer literate with a working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software. General knowledge of recording and projection equipment.

Responsibilities
Manages the personnel, provides budget input and maintains currency of contractual clinical agreements for assigned program. Maintains accreditation status, implements the approved curriculum and prepares the self-study, annual report, and assessment of program outcomes. Evaluates assigned faculty and staff, negotiates clinical education sites for student attendance. Assists the recruitment, admissions, student services and registration directors as requested. Assists with the admission and registration of students, maintains teaching abilities and provides continuing education opportunities for faculty, oversees the daily operation of the assigned program, counsels faculty and students as required, mediates student appeals, provides supervision of all updates of required publications as needed.
