- Work night shifts with every other weekend requirement
- Float to like units as needed
- Possible charge nurse responsibilities as needed
- Patient ratio of 1:6 for days, nights, and weekends
- 30-minute lunch required with no skipped meals policy
- Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
- 30-bed unit caring for regular medical surgical patients
- Alabama nursing license required
- Current BLS via AHA and fit test required
- NIHSS certification preferred
- Level II trauma experience preferred
- Travel experience preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- Previous charge experience preferred
- Charting system experience required
- Schedules cannot be adjusted once contract is confirmed
- Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
- Must adhere to call-in policy
- Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
