• 160 Bed Community Hospital, part of CHS
• Level III Trauma Center
• Medhost EDIS EMR system

• Teleradiology and Tele Interventional Radiology
• Pediatrics
• Anesthesiology
• Tele-Intensivists 24/7
• Ultrasound
• OB/GYN
• Orthopedics
• Hospitalist
• General Surgery
• Podiatry
• Gastroenterology
• Ophthalmology
• Plastics
• ENT
• Cardiology
• Neurology (tele)
• 90-minute lab turnaround times

Program Details and Operational Hours

• Hospital Medicine Program averages 43 patient encounters per day
• Physicians average 16-18 patient encounters per day
• Average of 4 admissions at night
• Open ICU with 24/7 tele-intensivist coverage
• ICU level patients consult Tele-Intensivists
• Responds to RRT/Code
• 24-hour Physician Shifts, 12-hour APP Shifts

Candidate Qualifications

• Active New Mexico license or the ability to secure an unrestricted license
• Must be a trained and boarded Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
• Active ACLS certification
