    Job DescriptionSalary: 12.00/hourly

    Job Duties and Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

    •Loads, handles, sorts large amounts of incoming soiled linens; prepares and transfers linens to other departments.

    •Feeds and operates garment press machinery, or sorts and folds for final finishing.

    •Folds Linens by hand or feeds into an ironer or folding machine.

    •Performs quality inspections.

    •Packs sanitized garment linens according to customer specifications.

    •Retrieves cleaned/dried linens which have been bundled (tied together in bundles) and loads them into carts.

    •Manually load carts onto delivery truck.

    •Operating material handling equipment.

    •Performs job rotation as required.

    Physical Qualifications:


    •Ability to stand/walk bend/push/pull and stoop for long periods of time from 8 to 10 hours per shift.

    •Must be able to stand, walk, reach overhead, bend, twist, push, pull, grasp, stoop and lift 50 lbs. for extended periods of time from 8-10 hours per shift

    • Must be able to push/pull/sort linen in an efficient manner

    •Must be able to withstand repetitive continuous motions of arms and hands while sorting and laying out linen for an extended period of time

    •Meet production and safety standards

    •Strong teamwork skills, ready and willing to work closely with team members

    •Reading and writing comprehension

    •Pushing/pulling of laundry hampers, empty or full ranging different amounts of weight

    •Must be able to work with and around large machinery, withstand variations of temperatures such as hot and cold, loud noise, odors, humidity, lint/dust, chemicals and other hazards.

    Shifts available are:

    4a-2:30p, (10 hr shifts, 3 days off)

    6am-4:30p ,(10 hr shifts, 3 days off)

    6pm-4:30a, (10 hr shifts, 3 days off)

    Must be able to work weekends

    Must be dependable and reliable

    Overtime required when needed

    Los deberes y responsabilidades laborales pueden incluir, entre otros:

    •Carga, maneja, clasifica grandes cantidades de ropa de cama sucia entrante; prepara y transfiere ropa de cama a otros departamentos.

    •Alimenta y opera la maquinaria de la prensa de prendas, o clasifica y dobla para el acabado final.

    •Pliega la ropa de cama a mano o la introduce en una planchadora o máquina plegadora.

    •Realiza inspecciones de calidad.

    •Empaca ropa de cama higienizada según especificaciones del cliente.

    •Recupera la ropa de cama limpia/secada que ha sido empaquetada (atada en paquetes) y la carga en carros.

    • Cargue manualmente los carros en el camión de reparto.

    •Operación de equipos de manejo de materiales.

    •Realiza la rotación de trabajos según sea necesario.

    Cualificaciones físicas:


    •Capacidad para pararse/caminar, doblarse/empujar/jalar y agacharse durante largos períodos de tiempo de 8 a 10 horas por turno.

    • Debe ser capaz de pararse, caminar, estirarse por encima de la cabeza, doblarse, torcerse, empujar, halar, agarrar, agacharse y levantar 50 libras. durante períodos prolongados de tiempo de 8 a 10 horas por turno

    • Debe ser capaz de empujar/jalar/clasificar la ropa de manera eficiente

    • Debe ser capaz de soportar movimientos continuos y repetitivos de brazos y manos mientras clasifica y coloca la ropa durante un período prolongado de tiempo

    •Cumplir con los estándares de producción y seguridad

    • Fuertes habilidades de trabajo en equipo, listo y dispuesto a trabajar en estrecha colaboración con los miembros del equipo.

    • Comprensión de lectura y escritura

    •Empujar/tirar de cestas de ropa, vacías o llenas, con diferentes cantidades de peso

    •Debe poder trabajar con y alrededor de maquinaria grande, soportar variaciones de temperatura como calor y frío, ruidos fuertes, olores, humedad, pelusa/polvo, productos químicos y otros peligros.

    Los turnos disponibles son:

    4a-2:30p, (turnos de 10 horas, 3 días de descanso)

    5am-1:30 o 3:30pm

    6 am-4: 30p, (turnos de 10 horas, 3 días libres)

    6pm-4:30a, (turnos de 10 horas, 3 días libres)

    Debe estar disponible para trabajar los fines de semana
