    Description

    HRD is seeking an Instructional Design Coordinator to lead the implementation of an Internal Learning Management System (LMS) on behalf of a manufacturing client in Norcross, GA. The LMS will be used to develop a comprehensive library of training resources for the internal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, instructional design, and LMS administration to ensure the successful rollout and ongoing optimization of the internal training program.

    Project Planning and Execution:

    • and execute a detailed project plan for the implementation of the Internal LMS, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
    • cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

    LMS Implementation and Administration:

    • configure, and customize an LMS platform that meets the specific needs and requirements of the company
    • the migration of existing training materials and content to the LMS platform, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
    • the LMS system, including user management, content management, reporting, and troubleshooting technical issues.

    Instructional Design and Content Development:

    • with subject matter experts (SMEs) and internal stakeholders to identify training needs and learning objectives.
    • develop, and curate a library of engaging and interactive training content, including videos, presentations, quizzes, and simulations.
    • that training materials are aligned with best practices in adult learning theory and instructional design principles.

    Training Delivery and Evaluation:

    • training sessions and workshops for internal team members to promote adoption of the LMS platform and training resources.
    • learner engagement and performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and identify opportunities for improvement.
    • feedback from end-users and stakeholders to continuously enhance the quality and relevance of training content and delivery methods.

    Change Management and Communication:

    • a change management plan to communicate the benefits of the Internal LMS and facilitate organizational buy-in and adoption.
    • regular updates and communication to stakeholders regarding project status, milestones achieved, and upcoming deliverables.
    • training sessions and workshops to empower users with the knowledge and skills needed to leverage the LMS effectively.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • degree in Business Administration, Education, Instructional Design, or a related field.
    • experience (3+ years) in project management, instructional design, and LMS administration, preferably in a corporate training environment.
    • technical skills and proficiency with LMS platforms (e.g., Teachable preferred), learning content authoring tools, and multimedia production software.
    • communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
    • in video editing preferred.
    • ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and deliver results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
    • of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and training evaluation techniques.
    • Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) designation preferred.
