    job summary:
    Large manufacturer with locations nationwide is seeking a Reliability Engineer for their facility near Birmingham, Alabama. Qualified candidates will have experience implementing strategies that enhance equipment reliability, minimize downtime and optimize overall efficiency.

    BS in Engineering or related technical degree desired. Relocation assistance provided.

    responsibilities:

    • Conduct thorough analyses of manufacturing equipment, identifying potential failure modes and developing strategies to mitigate risks.

    • Implement predictive and preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and minimize unplanned downtime.

    • Lead investigations into equipment failures, determining root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.

    • Collaborate with procurement and maintenance teams to evaluate the reliability of new equipment and technologies.

    • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure and report on equipment reliability.
