OverviewGovCIO is currently hiring for a Senior PL-SQL Developer. This position will be located in Chantilly, VA. This position will also provide the possibility of a hybrid remote work schedule.
ResponsibilitiesMust have expertise in creating and maintaining complex PL/SQL code/packages spanning multiple schemas.

Create and maintain web pages using Oracle MOD PL/SQL packagesMaintain the existing applications and enhance the system as per client requirements.

Extensive Oracle database experienceModify existing batches to incorporate new functionalities.
UNIX Shell scriptingAnalyze system issues and devise and execute remediation plans.
Perform code reviews and bug fixing.
Conduct performance tuning of existing queries and packages.
Comply with all required standards and processes and devise approaches to ensure compliance across the team.
Provide complete technical and maintenance support to the systems.
Run the assigned projects solo as well as working as a team.
Provide round-the-clock support as needed for the assigned tasks.

UNIX, MS Windows Server experienceHands-on experience with Oracle, Java, PL/SQL, JavaScript, HTML, JSON, SQL Developer, JDeveloper, JBuilder, Shell Scripting, UNIX, and Linux.

Posted Pay RangeThe posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity.

The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process.

If hired, employee will be in an at-will position and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
