    We are now looking for a Sales Engineer to join our US team.

    About the Role

    You will be responsible for earning the technical win with Matillion's customers by being exceptional technical storytellers and solution sellers.

    Every interaction with a prospect or customer reiterates that story - not just how the product works, but how the product solves a problem in a unique way for that prospects situation.

    What you will be doing:

    • Progressing trials along in an efficient timeline to move into budgeting discussions
    • Leading technical POC activities in partnership with prospects, defining success criteria and helping prospects through the process
    • Supporting AE with QA, follow up communications, sending documentation, and outline best next steps to progress into trial
    • Providing technical evangelism in territory through activities including presenting to user groups and at conferences and through content creation

    What we're looking for:

    • Willingness to go above and beyond to make prospects and account team successful
    • Able to independently investigate and understand problems
    • Attention to detail, especially with regard to documentation, audit and data quality
    • Curious and collaborative
    • Cloud computing experience with one or more of the following: AWS, GCP, or Azure
    • Well-versed and comfortable being in an external, customer-facing role, demonstrating email, phone, Zoom, and social media etiquette
    • Technical selling experience and a strong desire to win new business by overcoming technical objections through software demonstrations, proofs of concept, presentations, and the cultivation of technical relationships

    At Matillion, we are committed to providing competitive salaries in line with market standards. Our estimated base compensation range for this position is $83,000 - $123,000. This role is eligible for variable pay so your total on-target earnings will be between $104,000 - $156,000 but the final salary will be based on the relevant skills and experience demonstrated in the hiring process.
