    Job Summary: The Registered Nurse is responsible for implementing the philosophy, objectives, standards of care, policies, and procedures of the Nursing Division under the direction of the location's Lead RN and/or Office Manager. The RN is responsible for providing direct patient care specifically related to the administration of drugs and biologicals. This position also trains new clinical employees in office protocols.


    Minimum Requirements:
    Graduate from an NCBON approved School of Nursing and/or graduate from an approved School of Nursing. Current RN license with NC State Board of Nursing or Compact License recognized by NC State Board of Nursing. Maintains current AHA BLS certification. Knowledge of current trends and techniques in nursing. Possesses the ability to relate effectively to patients, their families, physicians, staff, and all others using proper channels of communication. Recognizes the importance of being a professional role model for others. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her unit(s). The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the unit's/area's/ department's policies and procedures.
