Description

The Hyperbaric Technician will assume responsibility for the safe and effective operation of the compression chamber system and supporting components.

Completes the patient's treatment charges on a daily basis., Demonstrates a working knowledge of the policies and procedures of Accelecare and Hospital.

Chamber operational competency workbook to be completed within 90 days of hire date., Ensures that medical records include serial photographs of the wound for reporting of the patient's progress and participate in taking photographs, if so designated., Performs data entry into the Clinical Data System and collate reports as requested by the Clinic Director., Performs dressing changes and/or wound care, within scope of practice, as ordered, and participate in wound center activities when HBOT volumes allow for such activity., Performs maintenance activities of the hyperbaric chamber(s) and associated systems and equipment, as directed., Performs marketing duties as needed, intra-and interdepartmental., Performs transcutaneous oxygen monitoring testing as ordered and per departmental policy., Reports safety issues and/or concerns.
