- Establish meaningful connections with a specific number of seniors and their families, offering support with daily activities, addressing individual care requirements, and understanding their preferences and personalities - Report any changes in condition to management and suggest appropriate care adjustments - Provide assistance with life skills and enriching activities tailored to each resident - Incorporate a variety of sensory experiences into residents' daily routines
- Contribute to the development of Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and provide monthly updates
- Supervise the assigned group of residents during the shift, ensuring their whereabouts and checking on them regularly
- Collaborate with the community team to maintain OSHA compliance and promote Risk Management initiatives and policies, as well as uphold safety regulations
- Attend to residents' dining needs while upholding Sunrise's service standards and hospitable atmosphere
- Guide, support, and engage residents in life skills and enriching activities based on ISP and demographic profiles
- Dedicated to upholding our Principles of Services and catering to the needs of our residents and guests
- Devotion and enthusiasm for serving seniors with outstanding customer service abilities
- Positive mindset, adaptability to perform various duties in support of residents, and the ability to work effectively in a team setting
- High School diploma/GED accepted, possibly required as per state regulations
- In states where applicable, must maintain necessary certifications
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Prior experience working with seniors is preferred
- Aptitude for making decisions in the residents' best interests, along with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in organizational and time management, exhibiting sound judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
