    Description

    Job Title

    Create construction work packages for the electric distribution system, utilizing various software platforms and adhering to construction standards.

    About the Role

    We are seeking an enthusiastic candidate to develop work packages for electric distribution systems. These systems may be overhead, underground, or in underground residential distribution environments. Projects may involve grid hardening and reliability improvements, substation optimization, joint use preparations, and street lighting initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop work packages using Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools, Work Management Systems (WMS), and other client-specific systems.
    • Utilize various software platforms to create construction work packages.

    Requirements

    To be considered for this role, you must have:

    • A BS Degree with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience, or a BS non-engineering degree with less than 5 years of relevant experience.
    • Experience with NESC Standards, ESRI, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and GIS is a plus.

    What We Offer

    This is a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity with competitive hourly rate ($25-29/hr). The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work on-site in Irving, TX.
