- Heavy processing of all AR/AP invoices and applying payments to various accounts
- Assisting with bank reconciliations, expense reporting, and journal entries
- Process all journal entries and reconciliations
- Assist in month end close process and other general accounting responsibilities
- Ability to take direction well from management regarding excel projects as assigned.

Addison Group has a client located in a northeast suburb of Minneapolis who is actively looking for an experienced Sr. Accounting Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have 7+ years working as an Accounting Assistant with an emphasis in the General Ledger and AR/AP monthly accounting duties. The ideal candidates will have previously processed Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable invoices, reconciliations, journal entries and intermediate Excel skills. This full-time Accounting Assistant position has a salary ranging from $65-75k annually.
Responsibilities include:
Requirements:
· Intermediate Excel
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance is highly recommended
· 7+ years working in an Accounting Assistant role
· Experience working with Great Plains, JDE, Oracle, or QuickBooks
· Minimum 4 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or Accounting Clerk
· Ability to work in a collaborative and team environment
