    Job Description Job Description POSITION OVERVIEW (Leader in Residence):We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our Leader in Training (LIT) program.

    This program offers aspiring leaders the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and training in leadership development while contributing to the success of our organization.

    Seeking potential principals, Assistant Principals, and Director level leaders.

    Participant Engagement: Actively participate in all aspects of the LIT program, including workshops, seminars, and team-building activities.
    Engage with program participants to provide support, guidance, and encouragement throughout the program.
    Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes teamwork, respect, and personal growth.


    Skill Development:
    Attend training sessions focused on leadership skills, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving.
    Apply newly acquired skills and knowledge to real-world challenges and projects within the organization.
    Seek feedback from mentors and peers to continuously improve leadership abilities.


    Mentorship and Role Modeling:
    Serve as a role model for younger participants by demonstrating leadership qualities, integrity, and dedication.
    Assist program staff in facilitating activities and workshops for participants, providing guidance and support as needed.
    Build positive relationships with program participants, staff, and volunteers to create a supportive community environment.


    Project Implementation:
    Collaborate with other LITs and program staff to plan and execute community service projects and initiatives.
    Take on leadership roles within project teams, delegating tasks, and ensuring project goals are met.
    Reflect on project outcomes and identify areas for improvement and learning.


    Community Engagement:
    Represent the organization at community events, fundraisers, and outreach activities.
    Share personal experiences and insights gained from the LIT program to inspire others and promote the organization's mission.
    Engage with community members to raise awareness about leadership development opportunities for young individuals.

    QUALIFICATIONS (Leader in Residence):
    Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Leadership Studies, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
    Previous experience working with high school students in a leadership capacity, such as a teacher, counselor, coach, or mentor.
    Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.
    Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
    Demonstrated leadership experience in school, community, or extracurricular activities.
    A passion for empowering young people and fostering their personal and leadership growth.
    Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, and community partners.
    Flexibility, creativity, and enthusiasm for developing innovative approaches to leadership development.

    Additional Information:


    This position is a full-time role with flexible hours, typically requiring availability during school hours and occasional evenings or weekends for events and workshops.

    Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
