CHEMICAL PROCESS ENGINEER

Reports to:

CEO

Compensation:
$70 - $100K

Responsibilities & Requirements of the

Chemical Process Engineer:
Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or related field required
Prefer 3+ years of experience as a chemist and/or chemical engineer in a laboratory setting
Bring a strong foundation of transitioning compounds from lab creation to commercial production
Proven ability to scale reactions and products to larger quantities for production
Strong knowledge of chemistry processes and engineering principles
Outstanding analytical skills
Experience building diagrams, flowcharts, and other documents and utilizing modeling/simulation software
Knowledge of federal regulations and a desire to support and maintain them in the work environment
Continuous improvement mindset to improve existing processes to reduce cost and increase reliability, purity, and safety
Troubleshooting and problem-solving to find solutions for technical challenges
Developing synthetic plans, and designing and running test experiments for large-scale use
Experience working with flow chemistry setup
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
