Provide a short description of the Position: The APD project is designed to deliver an integrated health care data warehouse and analytic platform to provide policymakers, researchers, and consumers with a comprehensive repository of health care information.

Selected Candidate:
Performing database and platform administration tasks for Center for Health Data Innovation (CHDI) systems and tools, including cloud analytics environment and data quality and matching tools Specific duties to include: o Research and provide input on technical designs for database architecture in environments o Implement design to meet highly complex business needs and technical design document, and support design, creation and testing o Establish processes for and manage database access and permissions o Review and manage database security, integrity, and backups o Monitor database performance, including incident and problem management o Monitor database usage and provide reports to technical manager and team to inform design changes o Create appropriate documentation in work assignments such as program code and technical documentation o Assist end users with database activities such as table creation and indexing related to data loading, view creation, and other database functions o Troubleshoot complex end user technical issues, identify problems and leading solutions
