- Assist with placement and manage intra-aortic balloon pumps.
- Monitor patients' blood pressure and heart rate with EKG equipment and notify the physician if something appear to be wrong.
- Assist in some scheduling patients and retrieving perform data for physicians to review and evaluation.
- Provide support and communication for cardiology patients, and training for new employees and CVT students.
- Prep equipment, catheters, programme computer system for EP, fluoroscopy, pacing and ablation.
- BLS and ACLS
- National Institutes of Health (NIH)
- Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- The ability to stand for extended periods.
- Strong technical skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Passionate about patient care
- Requires a minimum of two years of current Electrophysiology Lab Tech experience.
- Graduate from a fully accredited Electrophysiology Lab Tech program
- Active unencumbered Electrophysiology Lab Tech Kansas state license
- One year of Epic experience
- Must be able to scrub complex EP cases; need someone with enough experience to be able to step in and start working and possibly help us train staff
- License Preferred: RCES preferred
- COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
- Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
- Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
- Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
- Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
- A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
