-Can be fresh out of school to qualify for the tech trainee

Plusses

-ASCP certification is a plus

Day-to-Day

Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria

Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures

Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality

Prepare, test and evaluate new reagents or controls

Report accurate and timely test results in order to deliver quality patient care

Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedure

3 SHIFTS OPEN: 1st - 8-4:30

2nd- 3:30-11 or 12

3rd: Friday, Sat or Sun 7a-7p
