OPS Technical Infrastructure Coordinator
Classification Minimum Requirements
• Currently enrolled UF undergraduate or graduate student or a recent graduate in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
Job Description:
- Configure and manage GitHub organization, repositories, and access controls for student project teams
- Set up and document workflows for AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, etc.)
- Implement project management platforms (Trello, Jira, or similar) and establish standard workflows
- Create documentation and templates for development best practices, code reviews, and deployment processes
- Establish CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
- Ensure compliance with UF IT policies and security standards
- Provide technical onboarding support for student teams and faculty advisors
Expected Salary:
$20 per hour
Required Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled UF undergraduate or graduate student or a recent graduate in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Strong experience with Git/GitHub including organization management, branching strategies, and collaborative workflows
- Familiarity with modern development tools and IDEs
- Experience with project management tools and Agile methodologies
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
Preferred
- Experience with AI-assisted coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, etc.)
- Knowledge of CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Previous experience in technical leadership or mentorship roles
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices
