    Description
    Responsible for cleaning, decontaminating, servicing and restocking of Anesthesia cart, machines and equipment.
    Help with OR/procedural room turnover. Transport medications (excluding narcotics) at the request of Anesthesiologists, residents (if applicable), and CRNAs. Troubleshoot and perform first level repairs of Anesthesia machines and equipment. Deliver defective equipment to Bio Medical Engineering or appropriate group. Transport and set up machines, equipment, and Anesthesia carts at onsite and off-site locations.
    Maintain stock levels in work and induction rooms and on Anesthesia carts, including transport and handling of IV solutions.
    Maintain and service Anesthesia oxygen and gas cylinders and regulators. Perform all other related duties as assigned by supervisor/manager and able to respond appropriately to emergency situations.

    EDUCATION
    High School diploma or GED equivalent required

    EXPERIENCE
    Prior experience preferred
    SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
    Ability to follow detailed instructions.
    Ability to communicate effectively with clinical and other staff.
    Must work cooperatively as part of a team as well as independently.
    Understanding of aseptic and infection control and demonstrates sterile protocols. Demonstrates an awareness of and sensitivity to
    patient/family rights and cultural/religious beliefs and age specific needs.
    Knowledge of HIPAA, Confidentiality and Privacy policies, plus emergency protocols.
    Receptive to feedback, participates in conflict management.
    Ability to function independently in emergency situations.
    Must be aware of safety standards and hazards in the room.
    Must possess ability to work in frequently stressful situation requiring quick action and adaptability to rapid change.
