Job Title: Child Life Assistant PD

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to work as child life specialists, supporting patients and families during their healthcare journey. The ideal candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and a proactive approach to meet evolving needs.

This role offers flexible hours from Sunday to Saturday, between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm, with holiday shifts available.

Responsibilities:

Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment with age-appropriate supplies, following safety and infection control policies.
Support child life specialists in implementing patient care and family support programs.
Assist patients in accessing pediatric play facilities.
Provide various developmentally supportive play opportunities for patients and their siblings.
Effectively communicate observations on children's behaviors to the healthcare team.
Collaborate with the donations team for donor engagement and toy/material selection.
Train and supervise child life volunteers.

Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Child life coursework completion or in progress preferred.
Experience: Previous hospital or pediatric experience/training desired.
Skills: Strong communication and reasoning skills. Basic mathematical abilities.
