Position Overview:
University Retirement Community is a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) based in Davis, California. We pride ourselves in creating a work environment that fosters both professional and personal growth. Currently, we are seeking an experienced RN MDS Coordinator to join our Skilled Nursing team. As the MDS Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the delivery of comprehensive, individualized, and clinically proficient care to our residents. You will collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) to oversee the overall care provided to residents, both short-term and long-term, ensuring that all their needs are met to achieve the highest level of wellbeing.
Salary Information:
$58.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year of MDS Coordinator experience in a skilled nursing environment
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license from an accredited program
- MDS Certification is mandatory
- Previous experience in a supervisory role, including staff management and performance evaluation
- Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate excellent judgment in resident care
- Proficiency in understanding and adherence to state, federal, and local regulations related to long-term care and skilled nursing
- Current CPR and first aid certification
