    Job Description

    Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.

    We are actively interviewing for a full-time School Psychologist position for the school year in Buffalo, Minnesota. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a school-based environment, providing essential psychological services to students and families.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results for students to identify special education needs and support individualized education plans (IEPs).
    • Provide counseling and mentoring to students facing academic, emotional, and social challenges.
    • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop effective strategies and interventions.
    • Implement and monitor behavior management programs.
    • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of school-wide programs promoting mental health and positive behavior.
    • Offer crisis intervention and support when necessary.
    • Develop and deliver training sessions for school staff on topics related to mental health and educational psychology.

    Qualifications:

    • Must meet all requirements set by local and state regulations for School Psychologists.
    • Proven experience working with special education students and families is highly preferred.
    • Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools and techniques.
    • Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
