Job summary
We are seeking a full-time General Warehouse Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for manually moving freight, stock or other materials and performing general labor duties.Key responsibilities include operating a forklift and related equipment to load and unload trucks and move material within the warehouse,
reviewing shipments and advising management of shortages or damages shipments,
attaching identifying tags to containers or marking them with identifying information,
reading work orders or receiving oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs,
recording numbers of units handled or moved using daily production sheets, work tickets or handheld scanner,
soriting cargo before loading and unloading
Maintaining warehouse area in a neat and organized manner.
