Job summary
The certified nursing assistant/trained medication aide is responsible for safely administrating medications in accordance with facility policy and state/federal regulations. They adhere to guidelines and principles developed by the Minnesota Department of Health and the Minnesota Nursing Association.Responsibilities
- Assists residents with ADLs (activities of daily living) and provides quality care to enhance dignity and individuality.
- Gathers data and documents vital signs, skin conditions, nutritional intake, behavior changes, or changes in resident condition.
