Description
The Ortho Med Surg Unit is looking for a full-time DAY shift LPN.1 East (Ortho/Trauma/Surgery)
is a 38 bed fast paced Med/Surg level department providing care for patients recovering from elective Orthopedic Joint Replacement surgery, Spine surgeries, General surgeries, and Orthopedic Traumas.
We utilize a dynamic care team of Patient Care Technicians, LPNs, and RNs to manage the care of our surgical patients.
What you will do in this role:
You will maintain overall accountability/responsibility for assigned patients as directed by the RN
Youwill administer medications in accordance with physician orders
You will instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment plans
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Licensed Practical Nursing
Must be licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state which you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State LPN license
A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required
