Soliant Health, a leading healthcare staffing pany, is actively seeking a School-Based Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) in the Hobbs, NMarea.
This is a fulfilling opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the educational environment by providing crucial occupational therapy services that enhance the lives of students.
Primary Responsibilities:
Collaborate with students, teachers, and parents to assess and address the specific needs of each student
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to enhance fine motor skills, sensory processing, coordination, and overall functional abilities
Provide direct therapy services to students, individually or in group settings, aligning with their educational goals
Modify classroom environments and remend adaptive equipment or assistive technology to facilitate students' engagement and success in academic and social activities
Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, municate effectively with relevant stakeholders, and actively participate in team meetings and IEP (Individualized Education Program) discussions
Requirements:
Valid Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license
pletion of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Passion for working with children and a strong mitment to making a positive impact in a school-based setting
Excellent munication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, teachers, and other professionals
Ability to tailor therapy techniques and approaches based on the unique needs and abilities of each student
