CFS has teamed up with a leading real estate firm in search of a dynamic Property Accountant to join their team immediately As a Property Accountant, you'll be responsible for managing financial reporting for a portfolio of properties, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards under the guidance of the Group Controller.

Responsibilities:

• Handle monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings, including financial review, variance analysis, and issue resolution.
• Prepare financial statements in compliance with GAAP, Tax, and Fair Value accounting standards.
• Collaborate with management, investors, and lenders for reporting requirements.
• Liaise with independent CPA firms for annual audits.
• Monitor and manage cash flow.
• Prepare annual property and fund level budgets.
• Review and approve property expenses, including real estate taxes and insurance.
• Oversee billing and collection of CAM/Tax reconciliations.
• Manage escalation calculations and lease administration.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures for accounts receivable and payable.
• Provide ad hoc reporting as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial real estate accounting.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Strong understanding of Financial Statements and GAAP, Fair Value, and Tax accounting principles.
• Proficiency with Real Estate Industry Software such as Yardi or MRI.
