    Position Overview:

    The Regional Manufacturing Operations Manager is responsible for guiding the day-to-day functions of manufacturing in multiple facilities in support of the overall success of the assigned region.

    This includes providing guidance to manufacturing managers, supervisors, and technicians; ensuring that all processes, training requirements, manufacturing schedules, policies and procedures are followed, and that production goals are met.


    Major Areas of Responsibility include:

    Oversees all regional manufacturing tasks and processes, ensures proper documentation of all applicable activities in accordance with the State and standards set by The Cannabist Company.

    Plans with the facility manager and manufacturing manager from each site to ensure the proper tasks are executed and the conditions support the manufacturing of superior product quality.

    Responsible for providing guidance to manufacturing leadership staff, and monitoring manufacturing processes, and SOP adherence.

    Serves as a subject matter expert to staff providing information, training, direction, and guidance to accomplish established individual, departmental and company objectives.

    Responsible for developing and maintaining current SOPs, monitoring industry news, and adjusting to changes in regulations after coordination with leadership and pertinent regulatory council.

    Responsible for supporting leadership and production technicians to ensure successful maintenance and compliance within the facility.
    Coordinates with the management team to ensure accurate information is communicated to the manufacturing staff.
    Coach, develop, and mentor manufacturing teams as necessary.
    Ensure proper health and safety practices are followed in the manufacturing area.

    Minimum Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities):
    All applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
    Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
    Advanced knowledge of manufacturing and manufacturing facility operation methods.4 years of experience in a position with team management responsibilities.
    Demonstrates excellent multi-tasking, time-management, and organizational skillsExperience in a position requiring critical-thinking, problem-solving, planning and assessment.
    Knowledge of cannabis policy and law.
    Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
    Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
    Proficiency in windows-based software and point of sale applications.


    Regional travel:
    30-40%, frequent presence onsite in facilities within area of responsibilityOther travel: <10%, support other markets as coverage is neededFLSA status: Exempt

    Additional Abilities Required:
    This job requires frequent mobility in manufacturing facilities.

    The ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds, bend, reach, and perform manual tasks may also be required.
