Kaiser Permanente-Washington Permanente Medical Group- is seeking a part-time0.8FTEInternal Medicine/HospitalistPhysicianto join our St. Michael's hospitalist team in Silverdale, Washington.
St. Michael's Medical Center, founded in 1918, is a CHI Franciscan hospital and serves patients from Kitsap, North Mason, Clallam, and Jefferson counties. St. Michael's is a 242-bed level III Trauma Center. It has 20 ICU beds and boasts an efficient 34 private exam rooms at the Emergency Department. It is home to award winning cardiovascular services including open-heart surgery. There are no WPMG physicians in the hospital except for our Hospitalists. Specialty care is contracted through the local providers.
As a condition of employment, all clinicians and employees are required to verify COVID-19 vaccination status. As part of the pre-boarding process and before starting work, you will be required to verify your vaccination status, and will be provided an opportunity to apply for an accommodation based on a religious or medical reason, if needed.
Compensation and Benefits
The entire salary range for this position is$287,025.00to$337,677.00and will be prorated based on FTE. Placement of new hires will be in the range of$287,025.00to$320,793.00based on factors such as education, training or experience.
Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, basic life, and disability insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan, receive employer contributions to the 401(k) plan, and enroll in our cash balance pension plan. Employees will also receive four weeks of paid vacation leave every year and eight paid holidays throughout the calendar year, and will receive continuing medical education leave and funding.

Bremerton is a truly beautiful city located directly west of Seattle across the Puget Sound on the Kitsap Peninsula. It is bounded on the southeast and east by Sinclair Inlet and the strait of Port Orchard respectively. The city is divided by the Port Washington Narrows, a strait spanned by two bridges which connect the eastern and western sides of the city. With a population of approximately 40,500, it is the largest city on the Kitsap Peninsula. Bremerton is home to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and the Bremerton Annex of Naval Base Kitsap. The city boasts a lovely Boardwalk featuring an Historic Vietnam era Naval Ship Museum, The USS Turner Joy and gift shop. Historic boats, yachts and ships are moored in the marina; summer festivals, live music and entertainment are endless, and it is THE best place to watch fireworks on the fourth of July
