    How will you contribute to our magical experience ?

    The Director of Ad Sales Strategic Pricing & Commercial Planning will be a critical member of the LATAM Ad Sales organization reporting into the VP of Ad Sales. The role will partner with the Office Directors and counterparts within the local Finance teams to establish forecasting, managing, and analyzing of Disney's inventory (cross-platform) in the LATAM region. Additionally, the Director will assist in creating a long-term, sustainable revenue and growth strategy for advertising within our flagship streaming product, Disney+; our other digital assets: websites, YouTube and social platforms; and our linear portfolio.

    While the initial focus will be on implementing and overseeing day-to-day demand management and pricing strategy to reach the target sales goal in all offices. The Director will also be contributing to defining commercial sales policies, setting pricing rules, and reviewing potential partnerships from a yield perspective (trading agreements, programmatic/data/measurement initiatives, and wholesale/platform distribution deals). They'll be involved in revenue analysis, tracking, and forecasting alongside Sales, Finance, and New Business Development teams, ensuring we're reaching our targets in each market. They'll also maintain a close relationship with our US business, aligning LATAM to global ad sales strategies, tools, and systems.

    This role will also oversee the local Commercial Sales Planning teams to ensure consistent alignment with the regional strategy, pricing, and inventory distribution.

    The Director of Ad Sales Strategic Pricing & Commercial Planning will be responsible for :
    • Establish the Ad Sales Pricing and Commercial Planning function within the LATAM Ad Sales organization, manage its day-to-day operations, and chart a development plan for the sales group across the region.
    • Analyze data to identify ad inventory/revenue impacting insights, trends, and patterns.
    • Implement a sales revenue reporting process that surfaces and summarizes pertinent information for all stakeholders, including management of Salesforce reports and data entry accuracy across offices.
    • Leverage inventory usage and revenue insights to contribute to Sales strategy.
    • Set rate cards and pricing/commercial sales policies that empower teams to reach financial targets and keeps a consistent alignment across markets.
    • Provide data-driven recommendations to improve monetization potential of ad products.
    What we need from you to be part of this story:
    • Graduate level or equivalent experience.
    • 8+ years in the advertising sector, either publisher/agency side or in ad tech, focusing on inventory analytics, revenue management, and strategy.
    • Advanced Spanish and English skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to establish digital advertising teams, businesses, and strategies.
    • Skilled at turning data into insights, and then actioning business plans accordingly.
    • Expert knowledge of digital ad sales strategy, process, transaction models, and ad systems/technologies.
    • Highly competent in managing ad inventory across media platforms (linear, digital, DTC - including both live and on-demand streaming).
    • Experience working in ad-servers (i.e. Google Ad Manager), inventory forecasting tools (i.e. YieldEx), and customer/revenue management systems (i.e. Salesforce).
    • Expert level user of Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with visualization software.
    • Adept in financial modelling and analysis, with experience contributing to annual budgeting and long-term strategic planning.
    • Robust understanding of the digital media landscape, platforms, technologies, key players, & revenue streams.
    • Experience navigating the General Data Protection Regulation and similar advertising privacy requirements.
    • Strong network of contacts within ad sales.
    • Comfortable representing company in external meetings and events.
    • Media or entertainment brand experience is a plus, as is familiarity with processes and policies of a multinational corporation.
    • Highly motivated and driven problem solver.
    • Great attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to effectively prioritize and balance multiple projects.
    • Analytical; able to review, assess, and strategize based on the results.
    • Able to step back and look at scenarios at a macro level, solving the immediate challenge and providing long-term solutions.
    • Expert on defining/evolving processes and empowering sales teams for success.
    • Natural relationship manager, understanding how to balance the company's needs with that of a partner.
    • Motivated to lead by example and hold others accountable to high standards.
    • Comfortable working independently or collaboratively with reports, peers, and senior executives.
    • Revenue-minded, but not at the expense of our people, our guests, or the user experience.
    • Excellent communicator with good presentation skills, able to speak on behalf of the business.
    • Ability to navigate the digital advertising industry and maintain relationships with publishers, broadcasters, agencies, advertisers, and tech vendors.
    • In-depth understanding of digital media and the advertising industry, particularly video and within LATAM.
    • IT savvy across core business applications and remote working tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Slack, Zoom).
