    Description
    The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Elmira College invites applications for a part-time renewable contract position at the rank of assistant professor, beginning spring 2024, though later start dates are negotiable.

    This position is for a non-tenure track 10-month clinical educator/speech-language pathologist who will coordinate and conduct speech-language evaluations and interventions for children and adults and will provide supervision and guidance to undergraduate students enrolled in the Department of Communication Science and Disorders. The weekly schedule would consist of 20 hours divided across four days with scheduling flexibility on a per-term basis. Adjunct teaching opportunities for multiple courses are also available should the successful applicant be interested in providing classroom instruction.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Qualified applicants will:
    • Have a Master's degree or earned doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology
    • Possess or be eligible for New York State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
    • Hold a current Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
    • Have experience working with diverse populations

    SALARY:

    Remuneration for this 10-month part-time position is competitive at $36,000 Additional adjunct opportunities would be reimbursed in addition to the salary listed above.
