- Washes dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using automatic dishwashers or by hand.
- Places clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas.
- Maintains kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition.
- Empties trash and replaces trash can liners.
- Sweeps and scrubs floors.
- Serves meals and provides water service to guests.
- Clears dining tables.
- Maintains professional ethics and confidentiality of students in accordance with applicable laws and policies.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
- Reports to the Culinary Arts Program Director or Designee.

SUMMARY:
The Assistant supports FVCC's Culinary Arts program as needed for various FVCC events by performing kitchen and serving-related duties, such as kitchen clean-up, dishwashing, serving guests, and clearing dining tables.
