    We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Maintenance Planner and Scheduler in Boca Raton, FloridaThe Maintenance Planner and Scheduler is responsible for avoiding delays to maintenance activities, while ensuring good documentation practices.

    This role plays a key function in helping to improve work force productivity and work quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination of labor, parts, and equipment access.

    The Facilities Planner/Scheduler carefully plans and schedules work to maintain the designed reliability of equipment.

    Job plans created by the Facility Support group are intended to ensure or extend the life expectancy of equipment therefore aiding in the total reduction of maintenance cost and increased output of product.

    This role must establish strong relationships with key functions in the organization, this will play a critical role in the success of the planner/scheduler.

    QualificationsEnsure that proven Maintenance Planning and Scheduling methods and techniques are used to maximize system availability, throughput, quality, safety, and environmental performance by reducing equipment times to repair.

    Plans, schedules, and procures materials for maintenance work performed in area of responsibility while maintaining departmental budget.
    Facilitates development of the weekly maintenance schedule in conjunction with appropriate maintenance, operations, and engineering personnel.
    Responsible for consistency of format for all job plans.
    Ensures correct parts and consumables are procured for job plans.
    Works with MRO stores, Engineer's and Management to ensure that spares are stocked at appropriate levels.

    Develop job plans with manpower scheduling, parts verification, and parts kitting per company standards for Outages/Turnarounds, Equipment modifications, Standard Work, and PMs and Condition Monitoring InspectionsDevelops and maintains master data along with weekly schedules for company assets and work to be completed respectively.

    Manages notification life cycle of work while providing required reports.

    Uses feedback to update standard work, monitors job completion, and ensures correct closing codes are applied to completed work orders.

    Will manage our CMMS (Blue Mountain) for Facilities Building Maintenance, Metrology/Calibration, Maintenance and Engineering.
    Will be the principal contact and liaison person between Maintenance, Manufacturing and other supported departments.

    Ensures that all internal beneficiaries of maintenance receive timely, efficient and quality service and takes a continuing interest in internal needs with keen awareness of the situation (schedules, problems, etc.).Communicate and schedule Vendors for Vendor-managed PMs with the support of the Maintenance Supervisor or Manager to assign a maintenance technician/Operator to escort vendors and process work orders.

    Provide data and metrics from our CMMS (Blue Mountain) on maintenance performance.
    Develop custom and routine graph and written reports in our CMMS (Blue Mountain) by creating and saving defined queries.
    Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database management software.

    Responsible for generation and closure of Change Controls required for Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).Responsible for ensuring all work orders, forms and other documentation related to Facilities and Engineering comply with Good Documentation Practices for FDA Standards and other regulatory agencies.

    Ensure compliance in our CMMS (Blue Mountain) for audit trail, data fields and accuracy of data entry by confirming that Facilities change controls and Quality Assurance change controls are in place for changes and entries that are not specified in a SOP.Ensure forms that require data from our CMMS (Blue Mountain) print directly into the forms, comply with regulatory standards.

    Manage forms for Facilities and Engineering for updates and reconciliation.


    Education Requirements:
    A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.


    Experience Requirements:

    A minimum of three years of experience working in a medical devices or pharmaceutical company as a Maintenance Planner, Scheduler, Coordinator or any other related experience is required.

    Experience working with and knowledge of computerized maintenance management system are required. Experience working in a regulated environment (FDA, EPA, etc.) and good understanding of Facilities compliance are required.
