    Job Description -

    ONSITE 5 DAYS WEEK IS PREFERRED.

    CONTRACT ONLY. We're seeking a talented software engineer to lead our OmniPay development on an IBM mainframe.

    *Your future duties and responsibilities:

    ** Looking for a COBOL Developer who has at least 10+ of COBOL, hands-on troubleshooting, and deployment experience.

    Hands on experience working end users and line of business to implement and test new features. Work with other teams to build new features, improve standards and services.

    Development and unit testing of COBOL and SAS that integrates with other applications in the organization.

    Working Knowledge and hands on experience in DEVOPs tools like Jenkins, and GIT. Translates detailed requirements into functional system designs.

    Ability to prioritize work and meet deadline and also establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, project team members, supervisors, and employees from other departments.

    Work closely with internal and external design, business, and technical counterparts.

    Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work closely with diverse personality types and understand technical issues.

    *Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

    Implement localization or globalization of software

    Undergraduate degree in computer engineering, computer science, information technology or a related discipline.
