    About the Position

    The Compensation Manager at Legacy Community Health will be responsible for managing the compensation function for the company.

    You will plan, develop, and implement new and revised compensation programs, policies, and procedures that align with HR strategies and goals.

    The overall goal is to ensure that Legacy is offering competitive and desirable compensation package as part of our Total Rewards Strategy.

    As Compensation Manager, you will ensure the company is consistently delivering administering compensation programs that are in compliance with both internal policies and government regulations.

    This position will grant you the opportunity to provide creative leadership while coordinating among the Shared Services and Talent Acquisition teams as well as HRBPs to ensure a cohesive strategy for effectively attracting, retaining, and compensating employees.

    Key Responsibilities


    Responsible for designing, recommending, implementing and maintaining an agency-wide compensation strategy that includes all FLSA statuses and levels, that embeds practices to attract, retain and reward valued talent.

    Evaluates internal and external trending to ensure Legacy remains market competitive and that best practices are being applied.


    Grades all jobs, partnering with other areas of HR such as HRBPs and Talent Acquisition to ensure thorough understanding of the role for accuracy.

    Provides advice to agency staff on pay decisions, policy interpretations, and job evaluations.


    Monitors the effectiveness of existing compensation practices and recommends changes that are cost-effective and consistent with compensation trends, the compensation philosophy and agency objectives.

    Requirements

    Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or related field
    5 years of experience as a Compensation Analyst
    Experience in a supervisory role

    or

    budget/finance role preferred
    Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred
    SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP)

    or

    Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) preferred
