    SUMMARY

    The Client Marketing Analyst will be a critical member of the Client Marketing team within the broader Marketing organization and will work across GCM's investment and fund marketing strategies.

    They will support day-to-day client marketing efforts, partnering across investments and business development teams and in alignment with Brand and Communications.


    Specifically, the Client Marketing Analyst will be responsible for developing marketing materials used to market the firm, its funds, and its capabilities to prospects and consultants.

    This role requires a commercial mind-set focused on driving client engagement, an understanding of strategic marketing principals and effective messaging strategy, strong communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic group environment, analytical skills, and project management capabilities.

    These efforts include but are not limited to custom and off the shelf materials at every stage of the client's life cycle, and support the execution customized solutions, fund launches, fundraising efforts, and close plans.


    This individual should have the desire pursue and develop: a high degree of alternative markets competitive awareness, effective investment and fund level messaging abilities, as well as strategic client-related capital raising campaign tactics focused on supporting the overall fundraising cycle.


    RESPONSIBILITIES
    The team member will be involved in the following critical activities:


    Crafting sales presentations with a focused, technically rich and commercially effective pitch narrative, supported by compelling data visualizations, that effectively sell GCM Grosvenor's investment capabilities and products to institutional investors.


    Develop and maintain sales engagement tools, fund brochures, strategy outlook and market review materials, conference materials, deal insights, among others, that support capital raise campaign efforts and general business development.

    Participate in development and implementation of strategic projects aimed at marketing modernization, innovation and technology automation.


    Develop and manage internal project timelines including stakeholder, operational and legal and compliance approvals to ensure all deadlines are met.

    Management of multiple projects simultaneously.

    Retrieve, analyze and ensure data is accurate and applicable.

    Operate in a deadline driven, constantly changing environment.

    Perform related duties as assigned.

    EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

    The ideal experience and critical competencies for the role include the following:

    2-5

    years of professional experience working within the investment management space.

    Alternative investment (hedge fund, private credit, private equity, infrastructure and/or real estate) experience

    is required

    .

    Extensive use of Microsoft PowerPoint, as well as Excel, Word and third-party systems to prepare marketing materials.

    High level of self-motivation, including the ability to quickly learn complex businesses.


    Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple high priority projects simultaneously, often under tight deadlines, and transition smoothly as projects stop or start.

    High attention to detail, including solid proofreading skills, is critical.

    Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    Strong communication skills with the ability to create effective story and data visualization with text, diagrams and graphics.

    Outstanding decision making and problem-solving skills.

    Ability to understand and analyze financial data.

    Demonstrated initiative and ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment.

    High degree of integrity and the ability to recognize the requirements of confidentiality.

    Demonstrated team player and independent thinker.

    BA/BS degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field preferred.
