- Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers running Windows, Linux, or other operating systems.
- Monitor server performance, availability, and security.
- Implement and manage server updates, patches, and upgrades.
- Troubleshoot server issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Configure and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Implement network security measures to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
- Configure and maintain network services such as DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory.
- Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to safeguard the organization's systems and data.
- Perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Respond to security incidents and conduct forensic investigations when necessary.
- Maintain and update antivirus software, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
- Regularly backup critical data and test recovery procedures.
- Implement redundant systems and failover mechanisms to minimize downtime.
- Provide technical support to end-users on hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Set up and configure user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Train users on IT systems and best practices.
- Maintain helpdesk ticketing system and prioritize support requests.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures.
- Provide training to staff on IT policies, procedures, and new technologies.
- Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
- Proficiency in administering Windows and Linux server environments.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Experience will be considered in leu of degree.

DTSI is seeking a System Administrator to maintain the infrastructure of a mission critical enterprise environment ensuring reliability, security, and efficiency. This role involves managing servers, networks, and other critical systems to support business operations effectively while implementing a SaaS solution for the United States Air Force (USAF) at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) - Randolph Air Force Base (RAFB).
