    Book Tower is excited to introduce a fresh array of food and beverage concepts to the vibrant downtown Detroit scene. Get ready to embark on a culinary journey to early twentieth-century Paris with the enticing offerings of Le Suprême and Bar Rotunda:

    • Le Suprême: Experience the essence of French cuisine throughout the day in the brasserie's sophisticated dining space, outdoor area, bar, or exclusive 12-seat private dining section. Indulge in a menu featuring Parisian delicacies, along with delightful pastries, breads, and desserts from the adjacent patisserie and boulangerie. The full-service bar at Le Suprême presents a meticulously crafted cocktail selection and an array of over 300 premium wines and champagnes.
    • Bar Rotunda: Serving as an all-day cafe and wine bar, Bar Rotunda offers a blend of coffees, pastries, small plates, wines, and cocktails for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Set against the backdrop of Book Tower's marble arched atrium and century-old Kamper-glass skylight within The Rotunda, the design and service draw inspiration from the grand cafes and esteemed hotel bars of early twentieth-century Paris.

    The role of a host is pivotal as they represent the initial and ultimate point of contact for our guests. A successful host embodies organization, composure, and a warm hospitality demeanor. Guests should feel genuinely welcomed and valued during their stay, with the host showcasing exceptional multitasking abilities, proficiency in technology, and clear communication skills.

    Host Job Responsibilities:

    • Review daily reservations and accommodate special requests promptly
    • Maintain proactive attention to guest needs throughout their visit
    • Possess in-depth knowledge of the reservation platform, Resy
    • Communicate any notable issues to management and Chefs
    • Adhere to established phone etiquette guidelines
    • Ensure the host area is organized, clean, and presentable
    • Regularly sanitize high-touch guest areas
    • Display a positive and energetic attitude
    • Demonstrate a commitment to excellence with meticulous attention to detail
    • Exhibit a passion for the culinary arts, beverages, and hospitality industry
    • Efficiently handle multitasking in a fast-paced environment
    • Foster a team-oriented and supportive work culture
    • Showcase reliability and dependability
    • Capable of standing and walking for extended periods and lifting items weighing up to 50lbs when necessary
